This has been a long time in the making and I'm so happy to be able to release this work at last. Nina Dodd spent weeks knitting this sweater in early 2020, based on a design by Belgian street artist, Denis Meyers, created to match his installation at MAUSA Vauban street art museum in France.
I was supposed to travel to Alsace to photograph Denis at the end of March 2020, but we all know what happened instead.
We rescheduled for March 2021 but guess what, COVID killed that too.
Finally in March 2022 Denis and I got together to shoot this. In case anyone’s wondering about the weird colours, the installation uses blacklights. Here's the whole room:

One final picture for the knitting fans - Nina tested several different sizes of text before we ended up with something that was knittable and also legible. Work in progress here...
