Gold Award at 2024 AOP Awards

I was thrilled to be awarded Gold in the 2024 Association of Photographers Awards in the Spaces category. Thanks to the judges - Caroline Rowland, Fiona Naylor and James Merrell.

I shot these pictures in a waterpark on Egypt’s Red Sea coast. The architecture was obviously inspired by Ricardo Bofill's "La Muralla Roja", itself inspired by the architecture of North African casbahs. The use of colour and geometric design transformed what could have been a visually uninspiring waterpark into a thing of beauty.
